Welcome to Ubud Bali

After Sanur, we went to Ubud Bali to finish this trip. We started by an Hotel on the north and after we're going to Ubud Sari Heathl Resort. Charming bungalows on the jungle near the river with steam room, whirlpool, sauna and Yoga classes !

Ubud has charming accommodation for all budgets and some of the best food on Bali. There's an amazing amount to see in and around Ubud. It's like a paradise on earth for shopping addict.

In the late 19th century, Cokorda Gede Sukawati established his branch of the Sukawati royal family.

The Cokorda's descendants encouraged Western artists and intellectuals to visit the area in the 1930s. They provided an enormous stimulus to local art, introduced new ideas and techniques, and began a process of displaying and promoting Balinese culture worldwide, Ubud became an attraction not for beaches or bars, but for the arts.
