We went to Jimbaran Bay Bali to eat
fresh fishs.
South of Kuta and the airport, Jimbaran
Bay is a superb crescent of white sand and blue sea,
fronted by a long trip of seafood warung and ending
at the southern end in a bushy headland, home to the
four seasons Resort.
Three groups of seafood warung do fresh
barbecued seafood every evening (and many are also opne
for lunch). The simple opensided shacks are right by
the beach and perfect for enjoying sea breezes and sunsets
and we did !
Table and chairs are set up on the sand
almost to the water's edge. The usual deal is to select
your seafood fresh from an ice bucket and pay according
to weight. And it's cheap, 20,000 rp for fresh lobster
and 5,000 rp
for fish.
It was an "orgie" of fresh
fishs, shrimps, vegetables and fruits.
